DS3 Companion does not upload your checklist progress or planning data to the developer. The app does not require an account and does not include advertising, analytics, or in-app purchases. Item images load from third-party hosts as described below.
Your checklist progress, planning data, display preferences, and rating-reminder state are stored locally on your device. Images may also be cached on your device. This app-managed data is not uploaded to the developer; operating-system backup and restore behavior depends on your device settings.
The app's core catalog and tools work offline. When you browse items, images that are not cached load automatically from their attributed wiki or image-hosting servers. These requests disclose your IP address and normal network request information to the image host. They do not include your saved checklist progress. Each host controls its own logging and privacy practices.
If you choose to open a source or support link, your browser connects to that website. Sending feedback opens your email app; an email you choose to send includes the sender information and content you provide. Rating actions use the platform's app-store review service. On Android, the app also checks Google Play for available updates.
DS3 Companion is a reference tool and is not directed to children. The developer does not knowingly request personal information from children.
If a future release adds a service that changes these practices, this policy and the relevant store disclosures will be updated before that release.
